2019-2020 Spring Rodeo Schedule

The AHSRA Executive Board has decided to call the 2020 spring rodeo season with the exception of the Provincial finals.  The Provincial Finals for the High School Division have not formally been cancelled yet because they are still outside the Provincial shutdown deadline; however the Junior Division Finals will not be moving forward.  We will do our best to host both the Provincial Finals for our contestants.  If possible, later dates will be scheduled  before the Fall Season is to begin and we are actively working with our Finals Committees that have the bids for the Provincial Finals.

We will determine the National Team Qualifications mid May if it is going to be possible to send teams to the NHSRA Finals.  The NHSRA is still planning on having both finals at this time and have set mid May as their next action date.  At this time, the deadline for AHSRA to submit teams to the NHSRA for the Finals is June 2 - Junior Finals and  June 23 - High School Finals.

We do not have anything new at this time to share about the status of Canadians.  Please follow their FB page for the most up to date information.

All AHSRA decisions will be based on the guidelines set for by the Province who determines what the gathering allowances will be, so please keep informed and continue to watch for updates.

We are as disappointed as all of you with the way our 2019/2020 regular rodeo season has ended.  We respect everyone’s wishes to be able to rodeo and we promise that as soon as we are able, the  AHSRA Executive Board will approve rodeos so our membership can once again be able to compete and enjoy the competition and fellowship that is High School Rodeo.
