Please refer here for updates and all important information pertaining to our district junior rodeo's. Please feel free to reach out to your District Junior Secretary Tammy at 403.331.7921 for any questions or concerns.   • Members are responsible to follow all rules and policies set out by AHSRA
  • Members must sell raffle tickets and have them handed in by April 1st, 2021
  • Members must have a signed rodeo release form in order to compete at a rodeo
  • Members need to know entry deadlines, no late entry is ever taken
  • Members need to know turnout policies, you will be fined if you do not turn out properly
Social Distancing Rules will be in place at all Rodeos. Please be respectful.

Turnouts must be notified to d1juniorrodeo@gmail.com  Subject line to show:  Turnout - contestant name/number
Turnouts before the 48 hour prior to start of rodeo weekend are not subject to fines, but still have to pay Entry Fee.  Less than 48 hours notice are subject to a $60 fine (except vet out / medical out).

      • From Highway 36 turn East on Township Rd 131A. Turn South onto Range Road 161 then Turn west at the deadend road into the grounds

      • Box stalls available $30 /night or $50/weekend 
        • There will be $40 down deposit on stalls. PLease leave a cheque at the rodeo office.
        • All stalls are to be cleaned out when you leave or else you will not get deposit back.
        • 1 bag of shavings comes with stall. More shavings available to purchase on site.
      • Outdoor pens available for $20/night 
      • If you end up self penning there will be a $25 per horse  charge for the weekend.

    • Friday October 16th - Start time @3:00pm and Saturday October 17th - Start time approx 9:45 am
    • Roughstock to be @ 9:00am Saturday followed by Jr rodeo @9:45am then followed by 2nd round of roughstock
    • Entries open SEP 26th  and Call in Entries are OCT 6th
    • Stalling - MUST BOOK STALL. Once All the stalls are booked then those without a stall will be allowed to self pen in designated area only.
      • Box stalls available $25/night 
      • If you end up self penning there will be a $15 charge. Self penning will be in Buffalo Paddock.
