You must have an active NHSRA membership in order to enter a sanctioned AHSRA rodeo. There are two ways to enter.

Online entries are done through EQuest Events. Entries typically open on Fridays, three (3) weeks prior to each rodeo, and remain open for 10 days.

Your confirmation number will be stored on your profile.

Call ins are one night only, two Tuesdays before the rodeo date from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. If you need to make changes to your online entry, you must do it on call in night.

No late entries are ever accepted.

Payments must be made to the host committee by 5:00pm on the Saturday of the rodeo weekend. Failure to pay your fees and/or fines on time, you will be placed on the blacklist and be ineligible to compete until paid in full.

Entry Fees – If you turnout after entries close, you must pay your entry fees.

Turnout Fines – Turnouts that are received less than 48 hours before the start of the first performance are subject to a fine of $60 per day (this does not include vet / medical releases). Turnouts that are submitted more than 48 hours prior to start of rodeo are not subject to fines. A turnout for bereavement is still considered a turnout – all fees and fines apply.

Vet Release – A vet note must be provided by Wednesday at 5:00pm following the rodeo that you vetted out. The vet note must state that the horse could not compete.

Medical Release – you need a note to medical back in if it was an injury. If it was the flu or illness then you need a doctor’s note stating you were too ill to compete. Medical notes must also be in by the Wednesday at 5:00pm following the rodeo. A doctor’s note is required in order to return to competition.
