It is with sincere regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2025 North of the Border Showdown.

Since 2022, this event has held a unique and meaningful place in Canadian rodeo, proudly standing as the only NHSRA Western Legacy Series Rodeo hosted in Canada.  Thanks to the unwavering commitment of the Stettler District Agricultural Society, the Showdown has become a highlight for contestants, families, and fans alike.

This decision was not made lightly. In collaboration with the NHSRA, and with the future of the event in mind, we have chosen to take a pause in 2025 to ensure we can return in 2026 with even greater impact.

To our friends in Stettler—thank you for your passion, your hard work, and your continued belief in what this event represents. Your dedication has laid the foundation for something truly special, and we are incredibly grateful for your partnership.

Please stay tuned for updates as we begin planning for a bigger, better North of the Border Showdown in 2026. We can’t wait to welcome you back for what promises to be an unforgettable return.
