The Alberta High School Rodeo Association is accepting bids for a three-year banner contract starting January 1, 2025 ending January 1, 2028. The successful applicant will be required to provide all banners for the AHSRA (approximately 100-120 per year).

Each year we hold provincial Junior High and High School Finals, in which a provincial champion is crowned in each event, and the top 4 in each event qualify to compete at the National Junior High and National High School Finals. To celebrate their achievements, the AHSRA provides banners, and offers additional banners for families to purchase. 

Provincial Champion Banners

The AHSRA provides one (1) banner to all Provincial Champions – Junior High and High School – to be displayed in the student’s school or a public location in their community. (Approx 40)

Each Provincial Champion will also be allowed to purchase extra banners if they choose. Orders will be collected by the provincial secretary at the Junior High and High School Finals.  

National Qualifier Banners

Each National Qualifier will have the option to purchase a banner.  Orders will be collected by the provincial secretary at the Junior High Finals (end of May) and High School Finals (early June). National Qualifier banners must be completed and delivered before contestants leave for Nationals.

• Junior High – mid June
• High School – early July

Banner Layout / Design Requirements

Banners must be made of vinyl and include grommets for hanging.
Banners are vertical layout with dimensions – 25.5” wide  x 47” tall, tapered to 41.5” sides
Two (2) banner designs will be required each year: 

• Provincial Champion Banner (JH & HS) must include: 
  • Member’s Name
  • AHSRA logo
  • Provincial Champion 
  • Year
  • Division (Junior High / High School)
  • Event(s)
• National Qualifier Banner (JH & HS) must include:
  • Member’s Name
  • Team Alberta / AHSRA Logo
  • National Qualifier
  • Year
  • Division (Junior / High School)
  • Location (to be provided)
  • Event(s) 

Designs must be submitted to the AHSRA office for approval no later than April 1st each year. It is recommended that sample banners be available for display at each provincial finals. Note – NHSRA logos may NOT be used in designs unless written permission has been received. 

Orders / Payment / Shipping 

The provincial secretary will manage all banner orders, payments and shipments. It will be the responsibility of the AHSRA office to distribute banners to its members. Any banners shipped directly to members, must be paid individually, and managed by the supplier.

Banner designs and purchase information will be shared with members prior to the finals, so families can budget accordingly.
